ในปี พ.ศ. 2535 ได้รับงบประมาณจากกรมการศาสนาและได้มีผู้มีจิตศรัทธา ได้ซ่อมแซมเขื่อนคอนกรีตถาวร ปัจจุบันได้เสริมความแข็งแรงและยึดฐานไว้อย่างแน่นหนากรมศิลปากรอนุญาตให้ซ่อมตัวพระเจดีย์เชิงอนุรักษ์ในสภาพเอียงไว้ พระเจดีย์มุเตาหรือเรียกกันว่าเจดีย์เอียงองค์นี้ จึงเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของเกาะเกร็ด จังหวัดนนทบุรีที่เผยแพร่ไปทั่วโลก
