เศรษฐกิจพอเพียง เป็นปรัชญาที่ชี้แนวทางการดำรงชีวิตที่His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadejมีพระราชดำรัสแก่ชาวไทยนับตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2517 เป็นต้นมา และถูกพูดถึงอย่างชัดเจนในวันที่ 4 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2540 เพื่อเป็นแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาเศรษฐกิจของประเทศไทย ให้สามารถดำรงอยู่ได้อย่างมั่นคงและยั่งยืนในกระแสโลกาภิวัตน์และความเปลี่ยนแปลงต่าง ๆ

เศรษฐกิจพอเพียงถือว่าเป็นร่างฐานของการดำรงชีวิตอย่างมีความสุข รู้จักพอประมาณ ซื่อสัตย์ มีภูมิคุ้มกันในตัวแค่นี้ชีวิตเราก็อยู่อย่างมีความสุขแล้วคะ
