จำนวน 902 คน โดยใช้แบบสอบถามประเภทมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ เป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าความถี่ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (One – way ANOVA) ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ข้าราชการกองบัญชาการช่วยรบที่ 1 มีความพึงพอใจในการปฏิบัติงานโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง มีระดับความพึงพอใจในแต่ละด้านจากมากไปหาน้อยดังนี้ ด้านค่าจ้าง ด้านตัวงาน ด้านความก้าวหน้า ด้านการควบคุมดูแล ด้านผู้ร่วมงานและสภาพแวดล้อมการทำงาน จากการศึกษาพบว่าปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อความพึงพอใจในการปฏิบัติงานโดยรวมที่มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 พบว่า มีเพียงปัจจัยอายุเท่านั้นที่มีอิทธิพล ผลการเปรียบเทียบระดับความพึงพอใจในการปฏิบัติงานด้านต่าง ๆ กับความแตกต่างของสถานภาพการสมรส อายุ ระดับการศึกษา ชั้นยศ และรายได้ของข้าราชการ พบว่าข้าราชการที่มีอายุที่แตกต่างกันมีระดับความพึงพอใจในแต่ละด้านแตกต่างกัน
