3.1. Effects of BPA on the contents of mineral elements (P, K, Ca, and Mg) in soybean roots at different growth stages
Fig. 1 shows the effects of BPA on P, K, Ca, and Mg contents in soybean roots at different growth stages. In the control roots, the P contents at the seed-filling stage and the flowering and podding stage were significantly higher than those at the seedling stage. After BPA exposure, the P contents in soybean roots at the seedling stage and the flowering and podding stage initially increased and then decreased compared with in the control. The P content in the soybean roots at the seed-filling stage increased as the dose of BPA increased. When BPA dose increased to 6.0 mg/L and 12.0 mg/L, the P content increased by 58.70% and 77.20%, respectively, compared with the control.
