กิจกรรมสร้างสรรค์ เพื่อส่งเสริมพัฒนาการทางด้านสติปัญญาให้กับเด็กในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก กิจกรรมสร้างสรรค์จึงเป็นกิจกรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมให้เด็กฝึกทักษะทางด้านความคิดและจินตนาการ โดยผ่านการจัดกิจกรรม การวาดภาพตามจินตนาการ การฉีกปะติดรูปภาพ การปั้นดินน้ำมัน โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1)ส่งเสริมพัฒนาการทางด้านความคิดและจินตนาการ 2)ส่งเสริมทักษะด้านการสังเกต การจำแนก และการเปรียบเทียบ โดยครูมีขั้นตอนการจัดกิจกรรมดังต่อไปนี้ 1)ขั้นนำ ครูเล่านิทานเรื่อง อันอัน กระต่ายน้อยยอดกตัญญู หลังจากครูเล่านิทานจบแล้วครูและเด็กร่วมกันสรุปเรื่องราวจากนิทานที่เล่าว่ามีตัวละครชื่ออะไรบ้าง 2)ขั้นสอน ครูให้เด็กนั่งเป็นกลุ่มๆละ 4-5 คน ครูแจกใบงานให้เด็กวาดภาพตัวละครจากนิทานตามจินตนาการของตนเอง 3)ขั้นสรุป ครูให้เด็กนำผลงานของตนเองมาเล่าให้ครูและเพื่อนฟังหน้าชั้นเรียน
จากการจัดกิจกรรมสร้างสรรค์ของศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กบ้านดงหลวงพบว่าหลังจากการจัดกิจกรรมที่ส่งเสริมพัฒนาการทางด้านสติปัญญาให้กับเด็ก เด็กมีพัฒนาการด้านสติปัญญาได้ดีขึ้นทำให้เด็กรู้จักการสังเกตสิ่งต่างๆรอบตัวเด็ก โดยครูสังเกตจากการวาดภาพตามจินตนาการของเด็ก
