การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการใช้รถของนักศึกษาคณะวิทยาการจัดการภายในมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ ศึกษาความรุนแรงของอุบัติเหตุที่เกิดขึ้น และศึกษาประสบการณ์การประสบอุบัติเหตุที่นักศึกษาได้ประสบภายในมหาวิทยาลัย โดยเก็บข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างซึ่งเป็นนักศึกษาคณะวิทยาการจัดการภายในมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์จำนวน 126 คน โดยแบ่งเป็น 9 สาขาวิชาและ แยกย่อยแต่ละสาขาเป็นเพศชาย 7 คนและเพศหญิง 7 คน โดยการเลือกแบบไม่เจาะจง
เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสำรวจสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดย ใช้โปรแกรม SPSSEVAL มาหาค่าเฉลี่ย( ) ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน(S.D.) ค่าร้อยละของคะแนนเต็ม และค่าสถิติ
ผลการวิจัย พบว่า
1. พบว่า นักศึกษาคณะวิทยาการจัดการมีพฤติกรรมการใช้รถใช้ถนนในมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ เพศชายโดยรวมที่ในระดับน้อยที่สุดโดยมีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 0.77และเมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายข้อพบว่า มากที่สุดคือ มีการใช้รถขณะมึนเมามีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 1.46 และน้อยที่สุดคือ วูบ/หลับในมีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 0.38 เพศหญิงโดยรวมที่ในระดับน้อยที่สุดโดยมีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 0.79ละเมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายข้อพบว่า มากที่สุดคือ ใช้รถขณะร่างกายไม่พร้อม(ป่วย)มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 1.13 และน้อยที่สุดคือ วูบ/หลับในมีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 0.33
2.พบว่ามีนักศึกษาคณะวิทยาการจัดการไม่เคยได้รับบาดเจ็บเลยคิดเป็นร้อยละ 50
และเคยได้รับบาดเจ็บคิดเป็นร้อยละ 50 โดยแบ่งเป็น บาดเจ็บเล็กน้อยไม่ต้องรับการรักษาคิดเป็นร้อยละ 63.49 รับการรักษาพยาบาลและกลับบ้านได้คิดเป็นร้อยละ 79.37 ต้องรักษาพยาบาลไม่เกิน3วันคิดเป็นร้อยละ 73.01 ต้องรักษาพยาบาลเกิน3วันคิดเป็นร้อยละ 22.22 ต้องรักษาพยาบาลและสูญเสียอวัยวะคิดเป็นร้อยละ 3.17
