ในส่วนของตลาดนางเลิ้งที่เสมือนเป็นอาคารด้านการค้าของย่านนางเลิ้ง ได้ศึกษาถึงปัญหาหลักๆของตลาด ได้แก่ ควันอาหารจากร้านต่างๆ
แสงไม่เพียงพอ ระบบท่อน้ำ และ ส่วนเซอร์วิสของแต่ละร้านที่ไม่ดี โดยได้ทำการแก้ปัญหาโดยการจัดพื้นที่การใช้สอยของตลาดใหม่ ให้เหมาะสมและ
แก้ปัญหาต่างๆ โดยเพิ่มโปรแกรมการใช้สอยที่รองรับในอนาคตคือพื้นที่นิทรรศการชั่วคราวและพื้นที่เวิร์คชอปศิลปะและการทำขนมไทยที่ชั้นบนของตลาด
ในส่วนของโรงหนังเก่านั้นได้ปรับเปลี่ยนการใช้งานเป็นโรงละครและสถานที่ฝึกซ้อม เพื่อส่งเสริมด้านศิลปะการแสดงของชุมชนนางเลิ้ง คือละครชาตรี
และสามารถรองรับการแสดง ที่สร้างสรรค์และส่งเสริมศิลปะได้ด้วย เช่น การแสดงละครทั่วไป การเต้นรำของคนทุกวัย งานดูภาพยนตร์พิเศษ เป็นต้น
โดยใส่โครงสร้างใหม่เข้าไปในโครงสร้างเก่า โดยที่ยังคงความสวยงามของโรงหนังเก่าไว้อยู่ให้เห็น
ด้วยการปรับปรุงทั้งสองอาคาร และโอกาสของรถไฟฟ้าใต้ดินที่เข้ามา จะช่วยส่งเสริมให้ย่านนางเลิ้งสามารถกลับมามีชีวิตได้อีกครั้ง
