Good night Yuva.

The fun thing about English is the level of fool hardiness there is about learning how to spell properly. Science has found, if you learn English well enough, you can spell words improperly and people will still read them and know what word you intended. Of course there has to be the right number of letters, and it helps if the first letter and the last letter are correct. But even then sometimes they can be wrong and the brain simply figures out the correct word and moves on. I thought it was a hoax until I actually read a letter with almost every word spelled wrong. So English can be a royal pain in the fanny if the person using it is not careful. But also kind of nice if people do not spell as well as they use to. Which would be me! My spelling stinks now. I use to be pretty fair, just a lack of adequate using the same words I speak with everyday. Saying it is almost always easier than spelling it!

Learning Thai. I think I have a special motivation for learning. Thailand may well be the perfect place to retire too. Warm climate, people who are friendly to those willing to learn the local customs. And perhaps best of all, nice beaches to walk along on warm pleasant evenings!

And in the I told you so section of today's email, remember I said the west needs to not be so harsh and engage their brains before they open their mouths. Well, yesterday was the report about a US official talking with a Thai official about everything going on. The US official called on Thailand to stop Marshall Law. Once reported in the west, the Thai government got upset and summoned a US diplomat in for talks. In simple language, the US diplomat was summoned to get a stern warning about US officials commenting on things they do not understand. I would call it a fanny chewing, (perhaps a little more crudely) bottom line, The Thai government is not happy with the US at the moment. Simple truth to the matter, the liberal left of the US believe they hold the moral ground and are never wrong. They do not talk, they lecture. If you disagree with them, you are the one wrong and the one who needs to change your point of view. So my liberal President sent his high ranking official to visit Thailand, directed what the diplomat was to say and surprise! The US has managed to offend the Thai Prime Minister. While I am not surprised, I am sure the Thai government is. I'll close down my rant. We both know I do not like or agree with the current administration of the US.

Pleasant dreams and sleep well. I think about you all the time.

Hugs & Kisses
