บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษาคุณภาพน้ำผิวดินหลังการกักเก็บของเขื่อนแควน้อยบำรุงแดน ภายหลังเปิดดำเนินโครงการช่วงฤดูแล้งและฤดูฝน ปี 2559 มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณภาพน้ำผิวดินหลังการกักเก็บของเขื่อนแควน้อยบำรุงแดนในช่วงฤดูแล้งและฤดูฝน ปี 2559 ในเดือนเมษายนและเดือนกรกฎาคม โดยทำการเก็บตัวอย่างน้ำทั้งหมด 4 สถานี ดำเนินการครอบคลุมพื้นที่โครงการเขื่อนแควน้อยบำรุงแดนแม่น้ำแควน้อย และคลองส่งน้ำชลประทาน แบ่งออกเป็น 2 โซน คือ โซนที่ 1 พื้นที่ก่อนการใช้ประโยชน์ (พื้นที่เขื่อนทดน้ำพญาแมน) จำนวน 2 สถานี ได้แก่ สถานีที่ 5 แม่น้ำแควน้อย บริเวณหลังหัวงานเขื่อน สถานีที่ 6 แม่น้ำแควน้อย บริเวณพื้นที่หน้าเขื่อนทดน้ำพญาแมน โซนที่ 2 พื้นที่หลังการใช้ประโยชน์ (บริเวณเขตอุตสาหกรรมหรือเขตเมือง) จำนวน 2 สถานี ได้แก่ สถานีที่ 7 แม่น้ำแควน้อย บริเวณสะพานข้ามแม่น้ำแควน้อย บ้านมะขามสูง สถานีที่ 8 คลองระบายน้ำก่อนผ่านเขตอุตสาหกรรม (คลองชลประทานหรือคลองอีโอ่ง) ซึ่งได้ทำการวิเคราะห์คุณภาพน้ำผิวดินทั้งหมด 31 พารามิเตอร์ และใช้การเก็บตัวอย่างน้าแบบจ้วงตัก (grab sampling) ซึ่ง ตัวอย่างน้ำทั้งหมดจะถูกนำมาวิเคราะห์หาค่าดัชนีคุณภาพน้ำผิวดิน
ผลการศึกษา พบว่าการประเมินคุณภาพน้ำโดยเทียบกับค่ามาตรฐานคุณภาพน้ำในแหล่งน้ำผิวดิน ตามประกาศคณะกรรมการสิ่งแวดล้อมแห่งชาติ ฉบับที่ 8 (พ.ศ.2537) ออกตามความในพระราชบัญญัติส่งเสริมและรักษาคุณภาพสิ่งแวดล้อมแห่งชาติ พ.ศ.2535 เรื่อง กำหนดมาตรฐานคุณภาพน้ำในแหล่งน้ำผิวดิน ตีพิมพ์ในราชกิจจานุเบกษา เล่มที่ 111ตอนที่ 16 ง ลงวันที่ 24 กุมภาพันธ์ 2537
ฤดูแล้ง พบว่า คุณภาพน้ำในแม่น้ำแควน้อย จำนวน 4 สถานี ดำเนินการครอบคลุมพื้นที่โครงการเขื่อนแควน้อยบำรุงแดนแม่น้ำแควน้อย และคลองส่งน้ำชลประทาน แบ่งออกเป็น 2 โซน ได้แก่ โซนที่ 1 พื้นที่ก่อนการใช้ประโยชน์ (พื้นที่เขื่อนทดน้ำพญาแมน) จำนวน 2 สถานี คือสถานีที่ 5 แม่น้ำแควน้อย บริเวณหลังหัวงานเขื่อน และสถานีที่ 6 แม่น้ำแควน้อย บริเวณพื้นที่หน้าเขื่อนทดน้ำพญาแมน โซนที่ 2 พื้นที่หลังการใช้ประโยชน์ (บริเวณเขตอุตสาหกรรมหรือเขตเมือง) จำนวน 2 สถานี คือสถานีที่ 7 แม่น้ำแควน้อย บริเวณสะพานข้ามแม่น้ำแควน้อย บ้านมะขามสูง และสถานีที่ 8 คลองระบายน้ำก่อนผ่านเขตอุตสาหกรรม (คลองชลประทานหรือคลองอีโอ่ง) ดัชนีคุณภาพน้ำ ช่วงฤดูแล้ง ค่า WQI = 68.99 จัดอยู่ในคุณภาพน้ำในแหล่งน้ำผิวดินประเภทที่ 2 ได้แก่ แหล่งน้ำที่ได้รับน้ำทิ้งจากกิจกรรมบางประเภท และสามารถเป็นประโยชน์เพื่อการอุปโภคและบริโภคโดยต้องผ่านการฆ่าเชื้อโรคตามปกติและผ่านกระบวนการปรับปรุงคุณภาพน้ำทั่วไปก่อน เพื่อการอนุรักษ์สัตว์น้ำ เพื่อการประมง และเพื่อการว่ายน้ำและกีฬาทางน้ำ
