บริษัท ซาซ่าซีวีด จำกัด เริ่มก่อตั้งในปี 2544 จากธุรกิจสาหร่ายทอดในรูปแบบ SME โดยเริ่มต้นการผลิตสินค้าจากอุตสาหกรรมในครอบครัว จากกระแสการบริโภคสาหร่ายทอดเริ่มเป็นที่ยอมรับในตลาดผู้บริโภคอย่างเต็มที่ในปี 2547 บริษัทฯ จึงได้ขยายจากธุรกิจจากธุรกิจขนาดย่อม (SME) มาสู่การยกระดับเป็นโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมขนาดกลาง เพื่อรองรับการขยายตัวต่อกระแสนิยมบริโภคสาหร่ายอย่างต่อเนื่อง รวมถึงได้มีการแตกไลน์ขยายกลุ่มผลิตภัณฑ์สาหร่ายชนิดต่างๆ ทั้งสาหร่ายทอดที่ต้องใช้น้ำมันในการแปรรูป และสาหร่ายอบที่ไม่ใช้น้ำมันในการแปรรูป จวบจนปัจจุบัน บริษัทฯ ได้ขยายตัวอย่างต่อเนื่องเป็นอย่างมาก
จากการเติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่องนี้ บริษัทฯ ได้เพิ่มบทบาทจากผู้ผลิตสาหร่ายปรุงรสส่งขายภายในประเทศไทย พัฒนาขยายการส่งออกสินค้าไปต่างประเทศ ซึ่งประเทศเริ่มต้นการขยายตลาดในประเทศเพื่อนบ้านนั่นคือประเทศพม่า เพื่อเป็นการเริ่มต้นการเติบโตภายในภูมิภาคเอเชีย และขยายการส่งออกไปยังประเทศรอบคาบสมุทรอินเดียต่อไป
