การจัดการเรียนรู้ในกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้การงานอาชีพและเทคโนโลยี มุ่งพัฒนาให้ผู้เรียนมีความคิดสร้างสรรค์ มีทักษะในการทำงาน นำภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นมาประยุกต์ประกอบการเรียนรู้ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ผู้วิจัยได้ตระหนักถึงความสำคัญ โดยมีความมุ่งหมาย คือ (1) เพื่อพัฒนา ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบโครงงานกลุ่มสาระการงานอาชีพและเทคโนโลยี (งานเกษตร) ให้มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 80/80 (2) เพื่อศึกษาค่าดัชนีประสิทธิผลของชุดกิจกรรมเรียนรู้แบบโครงงาน (3) เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการทำงานกลุ่ม (4) เพื่อศึกษาทักษะการทำโครงงานของนักเรียน ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนเสกวิทยาคม ที่เรียนรู้ด้วยชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบโครงงาน กลุ่มสาระการงานอาชีพและเทคโนโลยี(งานเกษตร)โดยมีรายละเอียดประกอบด้วยกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาค้นคว้า ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนเสกวิทยาคม ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2552 สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาสุรินทร์ เขต 1 จำนวน 18 คนเครื่องมือในการศึกษาได้แก่ 1) ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบโครงงานกลุ่มสาระการงานอาชีพและเทคโนโลยีเรื่องการปลูกพืชผักสวนครัวโดยใช้หลักเกษตรอินทรีย์ สำหรับชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 จำนวน 12 ชุด 2)แผน การจัดการเรียนรู้ประกอบชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบโครงงานเรื่องการปลูกพืชผักสวนครัวโดยใช้หลักเกษตรอินทรีย์ จำนวน 12 แผน 3)แบบทดสอบก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียนจำนวน 30 ข้อ 4) แบบประเมินพฤติกรรมการทำงานกลุ่มและ5)แบบประเมินทักษะการทำโครงงาน
