รายงานสหกิจศึกษาฉบับนี้เป็นการศึกษาการลดจำนวนการจ้างรถขนส่งสินค้าของ แผนก Operation Import กรณีศึกษา บริษัท ชิโนทรานส์ ไทยโลจิสติค จำกัด ผู้ศึกษาได้ทำการศึกษากระบวนการทำงานภายในแผนก Operation Import และนำแนวคิดและทฤษฎีเกี่ยวกับ why why analysis เพื่อมาช่วยในการวิเคราะห์หาสาเหตุที่ทำให้เกิดปัญหาขึ้นและในการปรับปรุงแก้ไขจากการวิเคราะห์สาเหตุของปัญหาที่ได้จากเก็บและรวบรวมข้อมูล นำมาวิเคราะห์โดยใช้ทฤษฎี ECRS เพื่อลดความสูญเปล่า โดยการใช้หลักการของทฤษฎีเข้ามาช่วยในในการลดจำนวนรถขนส่งสินค้า โดยการสร้างอุปกรณ์ช่วยทำงานได้ง่ายขึ้นแก้ไขปัญหาภายองค์กรคือการโทรจองรถขนส่งสินค้าที่เกินความจำเป็นจึงมีการนำเสนอหลักของ ECRS คือ การวิเคราะห์ขั้นตอนการทำงานและปรับปรุงกระบวนการทำงานให้ง่ายขึ้นและเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานให้ลดความผิดพลาดน้อยลงขึ้นด้วย
ผลการศึกษา พบว่า จากการศึกษาลดจำนวนการจ้างรถขนส่งสินค้าโดยการทำตาราง SUB OP ขึ้นมาให้ง่ายต่อการพิจารณาการโทรจองรถขนส่งสินค้าและทำการเปรียบเทียบจำนวนรถและค่าจ้างรถใน 2 เดือนแรกและ 2 เดือนหลังการปรับปรุง ทำให้ทราบว่าตาราง SUB OP สามารถทำให้ลดจำนวนการจ้างรถได้จริง
