ปริญญานิพนธ์นี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อลดเวลาสูญเสียในกระบวนการบรรจุกระป๋อง โดยใช้ทฤษฏีการควบคุมคุณภาพ เช่น กราฟแท่ง กราฟพาเรโต และผังก้างปลา มาช่วยในการวิเคราะห์สาเหตุ และดำเนินการแก้ไขปรับปรุงคุณภาพในกระบวนการบรรจุกระป๋อง ดังนั้นผู้ดำเนินโครงงานจึงได้ทำการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลต่างๆ และศึกษาปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นโดย นำข้อมูลจากแผนกผลิต มาเป็นข้อมูลในการวิเคราะห์สาเหตุที่ทำให้เกิดเวลาที่สูญเสีย โดยเก็บข้อมูลในเดือน มิถุนายน ถึงเดือน สิงหาคม พ.ศ.2554 พบว่าเกิดปัญหาจากเครื่อง Paletizer จากนั้นจึงนำข้อมูลที่ได้มาทำการวิเคราะห์หาแนวทางการแก้ไข
