ที่มาของโครงงาน : เพื่อให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับอาหารไทยอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของความเป็นไทย ที่ซึ่งควรรักษาไว้ ดังนั้นสมาชิกมีความคิดเห็นตรงกันว่าควรจัดทำเรื่องอาหารไทยให้เป็นที่รู้จัก แพร่หลายให้คนในอาเซี่ยนได้รูจักอาหารซึ้งมีรสชาติที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ อีกทั้งยังได้ช่วยอนุรักษ์วัฒนธรรมที่มีตั้งแต่ในอดีตจวบจนปัจจุบันให้คงอยู่ต่อไปในภายภาคหน้า
จุดประสงค์ของการทำโครงงาน:
๑.ได้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับอารหารไทย
๒.ได้เผยแพร่ให้คนรุ่นใหม่และประเทศฬนอาเซี่ยนได้รู้จักอาหารไทย
๓.ได้คงไว้ซึ้งความเป็นเอกลักษณ์ไทย

วิธีปฏิบัติในโครงงาน :

๓.เลือกเนื้อหาภายฬนขอบเขต
วัฒนธรรม คือ ลักษณะที่แสดงถึงความเจริญงอกงาม ความเป็นระเบียบเรียบร้อย ความกลมเกลียวก้าวหน้าของชาติ และศีลธรรมอันดีของประชาชน, วัฒนธรรมในทางวิทยาการหมายถึง วิถีการดำเนินชีวิต ตรงกับภาษาอังกฤษคำว่า (the way of life) ซึ่งเป็นพฤติกรรมและสิ่งที่คนในหมู่ผลิตสร้างขึ้น ด้วยการเรียนรู้จากกันและกัน และร่วมใช้อยู่ในหมู่พวกของตนคำว่า “วัฒนธรรม” มาจากคำสองคำ คำว่า “วัฒน” จากคำศัพท์ วฑฺฒน” ในภาษาบาลี หมายถึงความเจริญ ส่วนคำว่า “ธรรม” มาจากคำศัพท์ “ธรฺม” ในภาษาสันสกฤต หมายถึงความดี เมื่อนำสองคำมารวมกันจึงได้คำว่า “วัฒนธรรม” หมายถึงความดีอันจะก่อให้เกิดความงอกงามที่เป็นระเบียบเรียบร้อย
