โดยอาศัยอำนาจแห่งพระราชบัญญัติจัดระเบียบเทศบาลพุทธศักราช 2476

ในปีพุทธศักราช 2535 ในสมัยของนางสาวสายไหม โกวิทยา เป็นนายกรัฐมนตรีเมืองปัตตานี
ได้มีการปรับปรุงอาคารสำนักงาน เทศบาลใหม่ ด้วยการขยายด้านข้างอาคารออกไปทั้งสองด้าน
