(1) ภาวะผู้นำเป็นกระบวนการ
(2) ภาวะผู้นำอยู่ที่ระดับความถูกต้องที่ผู้ตามจะปฏิบัติตาม
(3) การบรรลุเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้ ผู้นำ คือบุคคลที่มีอิทธิพลมากที่สุดในกลุ่ม จะมาจากการเลือกตั้ง แต่งตั้ง หรือยกย่องจากกลุ่มให้เป็นผู้ชี้แนะ ช่วยเหลือให้กลุ่มปฏิบัติกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ จนประสบความสำเร็จตามเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้
