         2. ผ้าป่าโยง ได้แก่ ผ้าป่าที่จัดทำรวม ๆ กันหลายกอง นำบรรทุกเรือแห่ไปทอดตามวัดต่าง ๆ ที่อยู่ริมแม่น้ำ จึงเรียกว่า ผ้าป่าโยง จะมีเจ้าภาพเดียวหรือหลายเจ้าภาพก็ได้
         3. ผ้าป่าสามัคคี คือ ผ้าป่าที่มีการแจกฎีกาบอกบุญไปตามบุคคล สถานที่ต่าง ๆ ให้ร่วมกันทำบุญแล้วแต่ศรัทธา โดยจัดเป็นกองผ้าป่ามารวมกัน จะเป็นกี่กองก็ได้ เมื่อถึงวันทอดจะมีขบวนแห่ผ้าป่ามารวมกันที่วัดอย่างสนุกสนาน บางทีจุดประสงค์ก็เพื่อร่วมกันหาเงินสร้างถาวรวัตถุต่าง ๆ เช่น โบสถ์ วิหาร ศาลาการเปรียญ ในปัจจุบันการจัดทำการทอดป่าชนิดนี้จะเห็นว่าเป็นที่นิยมทำกันมากเพื่อรวม เงินสร้างสิ่งก่อสร้าง หรือจัดซื้ออุปกรณ์ต่าง ๆ เช่น อาคารที่พักคนป่วยในโรงพยาบาล อาคารเรียน อุปกรณ์การศึกษา อุปกรณ์ทางการแพทย์
