น้ำตกเหวนรกชั้นที่ 2 และ 3 แต่ชั้นที่ 1 มองไม่เห็นจากมุมนี้ โดยซ่อนอยู่หลังพุ่มไม้สีเขียวด้านบน
เป็นน้ำตกที่เกิดจากคลองท่าด่าน น้ำตกเหวนรกเป็นที่รู้จักกันดีว่าเป็นน้ำตกที่มีความสูงและสวยงามมากแห่งหนึ่งของอุทยานแห่งชาติเขาใหญ่ แต่เดิมก่อนที่จะมีการตัดถนนสายปราจีนบุรี-เขาใหญ่นั้น จะต้องเดินเท้าเข้ามาโดยใช้เวลาไม่น้อยกว่า 6 ชั่วโมง แต่หลังจากตัดถนนสายปราจีนบุรี-เขาใหญ่เสร็จแล้ว ถนนตัดผ่านใกล้น้ำตกเหวนรกมาก โดยมีลานจอดรถห่างจากตัวน้ำตกเพียง 1 กิโลเมตรเท่านั้น ระหว่างทางสามารถเดินชมธรรมชาติอันสวยงามสองข้างทางได้ เมื่อถึงตัวน้ำตกจะมีบันไดลงไปอีกราว 50 เมตร ซึ่งค่อนข้างแคบและชัน แต่เมื่อลงไปถึงจุดชมวิวก็จะเห็นความยิ่งใหญ่อลังการของน้ำตกได้อย่างสวยงาม หากไปในฤดูฝนมีน้ำมาก ละอองน้ำจะกระเซ็นต้องกับแสงอาทิตย์เป็นสายรุ้งอย่างงดงาม แต่หากมาชมในหน้าแล้งนั้นอาจต้องผิดหวังเพราะไม่มีน้ำ เห็นแต่เพียงหน้าผาแห้งๆ เท่านั้น


น้ำตกเหวนรก
ระหว่างทางเดินมายังน้ำตกเหวนรกนี้ จะสังเกตเห็นแนวคันปูนเป็นระยะ สร้างขึ้นเพื่อป้องกันช้างพลัดตกไปยังน้ำตก ตั้งแต่ในปี 2530 จะมีช้างตกลงไปยังผาข้างล่างปีละเชือกหรือสองเชือกเสมอ และในครั้งใหญ่ที่สุดปี 2535 มีช้างโขลงหนึ่งจำนวน 8 เชือกหลงเข้ามาและถูกกระแสน้ำพัดตกลงไปตายหมด ทางอุทยานแห่งชาติจึงได้สร้างแนวป้องกันนี้ขึ้นมาเพื่อป้องกันอันตรายแก่ช้างป่ามิให้เกิดขึ้นอีก

ปกติแล้วนักท่องเที่ยวจะนิยมชมน้ำตกบริเวณด้านนอกเท่านั้น แต่หากเดินเลาะไปตามโขดหินอีกประมาณ 100 เมตร ก็จะพบน้ำตกชั้นใน ซึ่งมีความสวยงามไม่แพ้กัน และหากเดินเลาะมาตามห้วยลำตะคองเรื่อยๆ ก็จะมาทะลุถึงน้ำตกเหวสุวัตได้

น้ำตกเหวสุวัต
เป็นน้ำตกอีกแห่งที่สวยงามของอุทยานแห่งชาติเขาใหญ่ โดยเกิดจากห้วยลำตะคองไหลตกผ่านหน้าผาสูงราว 25 เมตร และมีแอ่งน้ำทางด้านล่างเหมาะแก่การเล่นน้ำเป็นอย่างมาก แต่ทางอุทยานแห่งชาติได้มีป้ายประกาศว่าห้ามเล่นน้ำไว้เนื่องจากกลัวอันตรายว่าจะมีน้ำป่าไหลหลากเฉียบพลัน ในฤดูฝนสายน้ำที่ตกลงมาจะเป็นละอองกระจายเต็มไปหมด ทำให้รู้สึกสดชื่นเย็นสบาย แต่หากมาในฤดูน้ำน้อย จะสามารถเดินลัดเลาะเพื่อเข้าไปยังโพรงถ้ำเล็กๆ ใต้หน้าผาน้ำตกได้

อยู่บนยอดเขาเขียว สามารถขับรถยนต์เข้าไปถึงแต่ถนนไม่ค่อยดีนักเนื่องจากมีหินถล่มบ่อยทำให้ผิวถนนเสียหายเป็นอย่างมาก นอกจากนี้ถนนยังชันและเป็นโค้งหักศอกอีกด้วย เมื่อขึ้นไปเกือบถึงยอดเขาก็จะมีที่จอดรถให้บริเวณใกล้กับผาเดียวดาย ซึ่งระหว่างทางจะเดินผ่านเส้นทางศึกษาธรรมชาติ โดยเส้นทางนี้มีความอุดมสมบูรณ์ของพืชพรรณต่างๆ มากมาย ที่น่าสนใจ เช่น ช้องนางคลี หญ้าข้าวกล่ำ เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ยังมีไม้ใหญ่อื่นๆ ซึ่งมักถูกปกคลุมด้วยมอสเป็นสีเขียวแลดูสดชื่น และยังมีไม้หอมพวกกฤษณาอีกด้วย ใช้เวลาเดินผ่านป่าดิบชื้นนี้ประมาณ 15 นาที ก็จะถึงจุดชมวิวผาเดียวดาย แลเห็นเขาสมอปูนทางขวามือและทุ่งงูเหลือมอยู่ตรงกลาง

หากโชคดี เส้นทางศึกษาธรรมชาติผาเดียวดายนี้ อาจพบนกหายากบางชนิด เช่น นกเงือก นกปรอดดำ นกแซงแซวหางบ่วง เป็นต้น

ตั้งอยู่เลยทางเข้าเส้นทางศึกษาธรรมชาติผาเดียวดายไปอีกเล็กน้อย คือเป็นทางเข้าของศูนย์เรดาร์ของกองทัพอากาศ บริเวณนี้จริงๆ แล้วเป็นเขตทหาร แต่ได้จัดให้ประชาชนทั่วไปเข้าชมได้บริเวณจุดชมวิวผาตรอมใจ เมื่อมองออกไปจะแลเห็นทุ่งหญ้ากว้างไกลสุดลูกหูลูกตา บริเวณนี้ค่อนข้างเงียบสงบเนื่องจากเป็นเขตทหารและอยู่ไกลจากแหล่งท่องเที่ยวอื่นอีกทั้งการเดินทางมาก็ค่อนข้างลำบากเพราะไกลและถนนไม่ดี มีคนมาน้อย บรรยากาศเงียบสงบจึงมีนกหลายชนิดให้ศึกษา บางวันจะมีช่างภาพพร้อมกล้องถ่ายรูปและเลนส์ขนาดใหญ่สำหรับถ่ายภาพนกมานั่งเงียบๆ คอยนกมาเกาะบนกิ่งไม้แล้วถ่ายภาพ
