มะตูม (อังกฤษ: Bael) มีชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ว่า Aegle marmelos เป็นไม้ผลยืนต้นพื้นเมืองในพื้นที่ป่าดิบแล้วบนเนินเขาและที่ราบในอินเดียตอนกลางและตอนใต้ พม่า ปากีสถาน บังกลาเทศ เนปาล เวียดนาม ลาว และกัมพูชา มีการนำไปเพาะปลูกทั่วไปในอินเดีย รวมทั้งในศรีลังกา แหลมมลายูตอนเหนือ เกาะชวา และฟิลิปปินส์ จัดเป็นพืชเพียงสปีชีส์เดียวที่อยู่ในจีนัส Aegle
ผลมะตูมใช้รับประทานได้ทั้งแบบสดและแบบแห้ง น้ำจากผลเมื่อนำไปกรองและเติมน้ำตาลจะได้เครื่องดื่มคล้ายน้ำมะนาว และยังใช้ในการทำ Sharbat ซึ่งเป็นเครื่องดื่มที่ได้จากการนำเนื้อผลมะตูมไปผสมกับมะขาม ผลอ่อนฝานแล้วตากแห้งนำไปต้มกับน้ำเป็นน้ำมะตูม นำมายำ ใบอ่อนและยอดอ่อนใช้รับประทานเป็นผักสลัด กินกับน้ำพริก ลาบ และข้าวยำ ผลแก่แต่เปลือกยังนิ่มนำมาฝานแล้วทำเป็นมะตูมเชื่อม ซึ่งนำไปเป็นส่วนผสมของขนมอื่นอีกหลยอย่าง มะตูมสุก เนื้อเละใช้รับประทานเป็นผลไม้ และใช้เป็นยารักษาอาการท้องร่วง ท้องเดิน โรคลำไส้ ตาแห้งไข้หวัดธรรมดา และยังใช้รักษาอาการท้องผูกเรื้อรังได้เป็นอย่างดี
