ขยะอาหารเป็นปัญหาส่วนหนึ่งในการลดภาวะโลกร้อน ดังนั้นจึงเป็นสิ่งสำคัญที่จะต้องหาแนวทางป้องกันความไม่มีวินัยในการทานอาหารให้หมดเพื่อให้ได้ฉุกคิดถึงคุณค่าของอาหารการซื้อและการบริโภคอาหาร การศึกษานี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาและพัฒนาสื่อมัลติมีเดียแนะนำแนวทางป้องกันการเกิดขยะอาหารเพื่อลดภาวะโลกร้อน โดยการศึกษานี้เริ่มจากการศึกษาและรวบรวมข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาการลดขยะอาหารเพื่อลดภาวะโลกร้อน แล้วทำการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับการสร้างวินัยในการรับประทานอาหารเพื่อลดปริมาณอาหารที่ทานเหลือซึ่งเป็นสาเหตุทำให้เกิดภาวะโลกร้อน จากนั้นทำการออกแบบสตอรี่บอร์ด แล้วพัฒนาสื่อมัลติมีเดีย โดยใช้โปรแกรม Adobe After Effects CS6 โปรแกรม Adobe Photoshop CS6 และ Adobe Illustrator CS6 ในการออกแบบทำตัวการ์ตูน จากนั้นจัดทำวิดีโอเป็นอนิเมชั่น แล้วนำมาประเมินความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้สื่อมัลติมีเดีย ผลจากการประเมินจากผู้ใช้สื่อจำนวน 20 คน พบว่ามีความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยเฉลี่ย 4.11 และค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน 0.57 ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นว่าสื่อมัลติมีเดียนี้สามารถนำไปใช้ในการเรียนรู้ และเผยแพร่แนวทางการป้องกันการเกิดขยะอาหารเพื่อลดภาวะโลกร้อน
