ประเพณีสารทพวน เป็นประเพณีหนึ่งของชาวไทยพวนที่อพยพมาอยู่ในจังหวัดนครนายก ซึ่งมีมากที่สุดที่อําเภอปากพลี ชาวพวนเหล่านี้ยังคงยึดถือประเพณี วัฒนธรรมที่ปฏิบัติต่อกันมาแต่ครั้งยังอยู่ ที่ประเทศลาว ชาวไทยพวนในอําเภอปากพลี นับถือพุทธศาสนาเช่นเดียวกับคนไทย ประเพณีพิธีกรรมต่างๆ
ที่ชาวพวนถือปฏิบัติกันใน ๑ ปี ก็จะมีลักษณะคล้ายและต่างกับของคนไทย ซึ่งบางอย่างมีความเป็นเอกลักษณ์ ของชาวไทยพวน ประเพณีวันสารทในอําเภอปากพลี จะทําบุญวันสารท ๓ ระยะ คือ สารทพวน จะทําใน หมู่บ้านไทยพวน ในวันแรม ๑๔ ค่ำ เดือน ๙ สารทลาว จะทําในหมู่บ้านไทยลาวทุกบ้านในวันขึ้น ๑๕ ค่ำ เดือน ๑๐ สารทไทย ในวันแรม ๑๕ ค่ำ เดือน ๑๐ ทุกหมู่บ้านจะทําบุญสารทไทย รวมทั้งไทยพวนและไทยลาว ซึ่งได้ ทําสารทพวนหรือสารทลาวไปแล้ว ประเพณีสารทชาวบ้านจะนํากระยาสารทพร้อมอาหารคาวหวานไปทําบุญที่ วัด ทางวัดจะนิมนต์พระวัดในหมู่บ้านอื่นที่ไม่ได้ทําสารทนั้นๆ มาร่วมด้วย เมื่อเสร็จพิธีแล้ว จะแบ่งกระยาสารท ให้กับพระวัดอื่นที่รับนิมนต์สําหรับไปฉันที่วัดของตน
