มหาวิทยาลัยควรส่งเสริมให้นักศึกษาได้ทำกิจกรรมต่างๆเพื่อพัฒนาการสื่อสารด้านภาษาอังกฤษของตนเองที่แตกต่างจากการเรียนการสอนในห้องเรียนและควรจัดให้มีกิจกรรมทางภาษาอังกฤษที่เหมาะสม เพื่อเพิ่มโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้ใช้ภาษาอังกฤษมากยิ่งขึ้น เช่น การจัดค่ายภาษาอังกฤษเป็นต้น
ในการเรียนการสอนรายวิชาที่เกี่ยวกับทักษะการพูดจำนวนนักศึกษาในชั้นเรียนไม่ควรมากจนเกินไปเพื่อนักศึกษาสามารถมีโอกาสฝึกฝนการพูดภาษาอังกฤษมากยิ่งขึ้นและควรพัฒนาการเรียนการสอนโดยฝึกให้นักศึกษาสามารถสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษได้ในสถานการณ์จริง เพื่อให้นักศึกษามีโอกาสใช้ความรู้ความสามารถด้านภาษาของตนเองในการสื่อสาร และเพื่อเพิ่มความมั่นใจในการพูดภาษาอังกฤษ
