This research is a study of the thermal properties of charcoal briquette from para rubber seed and seed shell. By comparison and controlled burning fuel. The heat of charcoals were measured by using Oxygen Bomb Calorimeter. In experimental process, time of burning, heat efficiency and burning rate were determinate. The results showed that, charcoal briquette from para rubber seed shell by controlled use the least amount of fuel was 3 kilogram, time of burning was 390 minutes, burning rate was 1.55 gram per minutes, thermal efficiency of 32.58% and the highest heating value was 7,513.61 calories per gram.
