การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาองค์ประกอบสภาพแวดล้อมของนักเรียนที่มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนแตกต่างกัน ในครั้งนี้ ศึกษาความสัมพันธ์เชิงสาเหตุระหว่างปัจจัยด้านสถานศึกษา ด้านครอบครัวและด้านตัวนักเรียนกับผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เพื่อจะได้นำผลการวิจัยไปใช้เป็นแนวทางในการช่วยเหลือและแก้ไขผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยนี้ คือนักเรียนระดับชั้น ประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นปีที่ 2-3 ของวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพณิชยการสุโขทัย ที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ ภาคการศึกษา 1 ปีการศึกษา 2556 จำนวน 49 คน
