• บริษัท Fitch Rating (ประเทศไทย)คาดการณ์การขยายตัวของเศรษฐกิจไทยที่ 2.7% ในปีนี้และ 3.5% ในปี 2559 พร้อมระบุว่า เศรษฐกิจโลกที่ชะลอตัวได้ส่งผลกระทบให้เศรษฐกิจของกลุ่มประเทศเกิดใหม่เผชิญความเสี่ยงและความผันผวนที่สูงขึ้น รวมทั้งยังมีปัจจัยฉุดจากหนี้ภาคเอกชนในระดับสูง อย่างไรก็ตาม สถาบันการเงินของไทยส่วนใหญ่ยังมีการกันสำรองในระดับที่เหมาะสมและมีฐานะเงินทุนที่แข็งแกร่งเพียงพอรองรับผลกระทบดังกล่าว ทั้งนี้ Fitch Rating ยังคงสถานะความน่าเชื่อถือของไทยไว้ที่ระดับ BBB+ พร้อมแนวโน้มเสถียรภาพจากพื้นฐานเศรษฐกิจไทยที่ยังคงแข็งแกร่ง
