การศึกษาความต้องการและแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมในชุมชน โดยชุมชนบ้านโนนสำราญ ตำบลแวงน่าง อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดมหาสารคาม มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาหาแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมในชุมชนบ้านโนนสำราญ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง 20 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลคือ แบบสอบถามในชุมชนบ้านโนนสำราญ ตำบลแวงน่าง อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดมหาสารคาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลคือ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับความต้องการในการแก้ไขปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมในชุมชน โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ("X" ̅=4.70/SD=0.57) ความคิดเห็นต่อแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมในชุมชนได้แก่ 1) ด้านปัญหาภัยแล้ง โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ("X" ̅=4.05/SD=0.68) มีความคิดเห็นต่อแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาคือ มีอ่างเก็บน้ำที่เพียงพอต่อความต้องการ 2) ด้านปัญหายาเสพติด โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ("X" ̅=3.75/SD=0.63) มีความคิดเห็นต่อแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาคือ ให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับเรื่องโทษของยาเสพติด 3) ด้านปัญหาขยะ โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ("X" ̅=3.80/SD=0.89) มีความคิดเห็นต่อแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาคือ มีการฝึกอบรมการจัดการขยะให้ชาวบ้าน4) ด้านปัญหาฝุ่นละออง โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (("X" ̅=3.85/SD=0.58) มีความคิดเห็นต่อแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาคือมีการจัดการลดการเผาตอฟางในทุ่งนาเพราะส่งผลกระทบต่อบ้านเรือน 5) ด้านปัญหาน้ำเสีย โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ("X" ̅=4.70/SD=0.47) มีความคิดเห็นต่อแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาคือมีการนำน้ำใช้ทิ้งมาใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์
