“การอุดหนุนการส่งออกน้ำตาลทรายดิบของประเทศอินเดียในรอบนี้ ถือเป็นการบิดเบือนตลาด ซึ่งขัดต่อหลักการปฏิบัติภายใต้ WTO และส่งผลกระทบต่อราคาน้ำตาลทรายดิบในตลาดโลก ทำให้ผู้ส่งออกน้ำตาลทรายดิบได้รับความเสียหาย ซึ่งไทยในฐานะที่เป็นผู้ส่งออกน้ำตาลทรายดิบอันดับ 2 ของโลก จึงเรียกร้องให้หน่วยงานภาครัฐของไทยเร่งดำเนินการยื่นเรื่องเรียกร้องให้ประเทศอินเดียหยุดมาตรการอุดหนุนดังกล่าวโดยเร็วที่สุด" นายสิริวุทธิ์ กล่าว
