พระราชประวัติ
สมเด็จพระนารายณ์มหาราชเป็นพระราชโอรสในสมเด็จพระเจ้าปราสาททองและพระนางศิริธิดา ต่อมาภายหลังยกเป็นพระราชเทวี ซึ่งเป็นพระขนิษฐาต่างมารดาของพระเจ้าปราสาททอง[1] เสด็จพระบรมราชสมภพ เมื่อวันจันทร์ เดือนยี่ ปีวอก พ.ศ. 2175 และมีพระขนิษฐาร่วมพระมารดาคือสมเด็จเจ้าฟ้าศรีสุวรรณ กรมหลวงโยธาทิพ หรือพระราชกัลยาณี[1] พระนมอยู่พระองค์หนึ่งคือเจ้าแม่วัดดุสิต ซึ่งเป็นญาติห่าง ๆ ของพระเจ้าปราสาททองเช่นกัน[1]

สมเด็จพระนารายณ์มหาราช เป็นพระอนุชาในสมเด็จเจ้าฟ้าไชย และยังมีพระอนุชาต่างพระมารดาอีก ได้แก่
