อุทยานแห่งชาติทางทะเลที่มีความสวยงามของปะการังน้ำตื้นมากที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งของประเทศไทย อยู่ห่างจากชายฝั่ง จังหวัดพังงา ไปทางทิศตะวันตกประมาณ 70 กิโลเมตร มีเกาะที่สำคัญ 5 เกาะ คือ เกาะสุรินทร์เหนือ เกาะสุรินทร์ใต้ เกาะไข่ (เกาะตอรินลา) เกาะกลาง (เกาะปาจุมบา) และเกาะรี (เกาะสต๊อก)

เป็นหมู่เกาะที่มีแนวปะการังน้ำตื้นที่สมบูรณ์สวยงามมาก ๆ มีปลาสีสันต่างๆ มากมาย เหมาะสำหรับชมปะการังน้ำตื้น โดยเฉพาะเกาะไข่ ส่วนบริเวณที่เหมาะจะดำน้ำลึก คือ กองหินริเชลิว อยู่ห่างจากเกาะสุรินทร์ไปทางทิศตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ 10 กิโลเมตร ทัศนียภาพบนบก แม้ว่าจะสวยสู้ทะเลสิมิลันไม่ได้ แต่ว่ามันก็มีบรรยากาศหาดทรายสีขาวละมุนเท้า น้ำทะเลสีฟ้าสวยกิ๊ง นอนฟังเสียงคลื่นซัดชายฝั่งตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง มันเป็นความสุขที่หาไม่ได้ง่ายๆ นะเธอ
