โครงงานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างต้นแบบแอพพลิเคชันและอุปกรณ์ควบคุมการ เปิด – ปิด อุปกรณ์ไฟฟ้าผ่านสัญญาณบลูทูธ โดยทำการเขียนแอพพลิเคชันควบคุมขึ้นมา เป็นระบบปฏิบัติการแอนดรอยด์ และทำการติดตั้งลงที่สมาร์ทโฟน เพื่อใช้ทำการส่งสัญญาณที่ใช้ในการควบคุมการเปิด – ปิด อุปกรณ์ไฟฟ้าผ่านบอร์ดไมโครคอนโทรลเลอร์ รุ่น IOIO-Q
ผู้วิจัยได้ทำการทดลอง 2 แบบ คือ การทดลองที่ส่งสัญญาณในพื้นที่โล่ง และบริเวณที่มีสิ่งกีดขวาง โดยในการทดลองนั้นทางผู้วิจัยได้เว้นระยะห่างระหว่างโทรศัพท์มือถือกับจุดที่ได้ทำการติดตั้งตัวบอร์ดไมโครคอนโทรลเลอร์ รุ่น IOIO-Q โดยมีระยะห่าง5-60เมตร และทุกๆ5 เมตร จะมีการทดสอบและใช้การจับเวลาในการสั่งการจากโทรศัพท์มือถือพร้อมบันทึกผล อุปกรณ์สามารถควบคุมได้ 16 พอร์ต โดยสามารถกดสั่ง เปิด-ปิด แยกพอร์ตได้และยังฟังก์ชั่นช่วยจำเป็นไอคอนที่สามารถกดเปลี่ยนตามอุปกรณ์ไฟฟ้าที่เราใช้งาน
