FAM (Friendly – Assistance – Member) Nurse เป็นการดำเนินโครงการของสโมสรนักศึกษาคณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสยาม ภายใต้แนวคิดการให้ความช่วยเหลือบุคคลและสังคมด้วยความเป็นกัลยาณมิตร อันเป็นการต่อยอดของโครงการครอบครัวเดียวกัน (Family nurse) ที่มีแนวทางในการพัฒนาคุณลักษณะบัณฑิตที่พึงประสงค์ให้มีจิตบริหารด้วยหัวใจความเป็นมนุษย์ โดยอาศัยองค์ประกอบ 3 ประการ คือ การพัฒนาเหตุผลเชิงจริยธรรมขั้นสูง ที่มองเห็นประโยชน์ส่วนรวมมากกว่าส่วนตน ซึ่งเป็นลักษณะหนึ่งของการเป็นคนดี การใช้กระบวนการคิดอย่างเป็นระบบเพื่อการมองแบบองค์รวมเพื่อสรรพสิ่งล้วนสัมพันธ์กัน อาศัยการคิดหาปัญหาที่แท้จริง และปัจจัยย่อยที่ส่งผลต่อปัญหานั้น เป็นคุณลักษณะของการเป็นคนเก่ง ทั้งเหตุผลเชิงจริยธรรมและการคิดอย่างเป็นระบบล้วนอาศัยการเรียนรู้ประสบการณ์ที่ใกล้ตัวผู้เรียน และ การแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองภายใต้บรรยากาศที่เป็นกัลยาณมิตร ทำให้ผู้เรียนมีความสุข
เมื่อผนวกแนวคิดหลักการของการพัฒนาพื้นที่สุขภาวะ (Healthy Space) และการดำเนินงานพัฒนาพื้นที่เขตภาษีเจริญให้เป็นพื้นที่สุขภาวะ ที่ดำเนินการโดยศูนย์วิจัยเพื่อพัฒนาชุมชน (ศวพช.) มหาวิทยาลัยสยาม ที่เป็นกลไกหลักในการประสานความร่วมมือสนับสนุนด้านวิชาการ ทรัพยากร และกิจกรรมจากภายนอกเพื่อก่อให้เกิดกิจกรรมสร้างสรรค์พื้นที่สุขภาวะในเขตพื้นที่ภาษีเจริญ กับหลักการแนวคิด FAM Nurse ที่ดำเนินการโดยสโมสรนักศึกษาคณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ และฐานคิดจากนโยบายของมหาวิทยาลัยสยามที่จะให้มหาวิทยาลัยสยาม เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของสังคมและร่วมในการพัฒนาชุมชน ด้วยการพร้อมสนับสนุนการดำเนินงานในทุกด้าน จึงก่อให้เกิดความร่วมมือกันระหว่างสโมสรนักศึกษาคณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ โดยทีมงาน FAM nurse กับ ศูนย์วิจัยเพื่อพัฒนาชุมชน (ศวพช.) มหาวิทยาลัยสยาม ร่วมกันขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาพื้นที่สุขภาวะในพื้นที่ภาษีเจริญอย่างมีพลัง โดยมีแกนนำเยาวชน ซึ่งเป็นนักศึกษาพยาบาล ซึ่งเปรียบเสมือนรากแก้วที่จะร่วมสรรค์สร้างสร้างสังคม และครอบครัวของคนในชุมชน ให้ผนึกกำลังสร้างสรรค์พื้นที่สุขภาวะในเขตพื้นที่ภาษีเจริญให้เกิดขึ้นอย่างยั่งยืนและมีประสิทธิภาพ จนสามารถขยายต่อยอดเป็นองค์ความรู้เพื่อประยุกต์ใช้ในพื้นที่สังคมอื่น ๆ ต่อไป สรุปแนวคิด หลักการของการดำเนินงานได้ดังภาพที่ 3
