ทางคณะวิจัยได้ทำการถอดแบบเรียนจากต่างประเทศเพื่อเป็นแนวทาง ในการศึกษา ทั้งนี้ปัจจัยที่สำคัญในการคำนวณสำหรับการร่างนโยบาย คือ ยอดการผลิตและการใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์ในท้องตลาด โดยแนวทาง (ร่าง) นโยบายการจัดทำฉลากสินค้าหรือผลิตภัณฑ์แสดงประสิทธิภาพพลังงานที่เหมาะสมในประเทศไทยทางคณะได้ทำการเสนอในที่ประชุม 5 หัวข้อ
