อุทยานแห่งชาติภูจองนายอย เป็นอุทยานฯ ลำดับที่ 53 ของประเทศไทย มีเนื้อที่ประมาณ 428,750 ไร่ ครอบคลุมพื้นที่อำเภอบุณฑริก อำเภอนาจะหลวย และอำเภอน้ำยืน จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี มีอาณาเขตติดต่อกับประเทศลาวและประเทศกัมพูชา พื้นที่ส่วนใหญ่เป็นภูเขาในเทือกเขาพนมดงรัก สภาพป่าทั่วไปมีความอุดมสมบูรณ์ ทัศนียภาพโดยรวมถือว่าสวยงามมาก เหมาะที่จะมาเที่ยวชมธรรมชาติเป็นอย่างยิ่ง
ภายในเขตอุทยานแห่งชาติภูจองนายอย มีสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวน่าสนใจมากมาย เช่น
น้ำตกห้วยหลวง (น้ำตกบักเตว) อยู่ห่างจากที่ทำการอุทยานฯ ประมาณ 3 กิโลเมตร เป็นน้ำตกขนาดใหญ่ สูงประมาณ 30 เมตร แบ่งเป็น 3 ชั้น ด้านล่างเป็นแอ่งน้ำขนาดเล็ก มีหาดทรายขาว และน้ำเป็นสีมรกต สวยงามมาก นอกจากนี้บริเวณน้ำตกห้วยหลวงยังมีทางเดินเท้าไปยัง น้ำตกประโอนละออ อีกด้วย
