การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคไข้หวัดใหญ่ของผู้ปกครองเด็กในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยด้านความรู้เรื่องโรคไข้หวัดใหญ่ ปัจจัยด้านการรับรู้ความเสี่ยงและความรุนแรงที่มีต่อโรคไข้หวัดใหญ่ ปัจจัยสนับสนุนและแรงจูงใจในการป้องกันโรคไข้หวัดใหญ่ที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคไข้หวัดใหญ่ของผู้ปกครองเด็กในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก ตำบลปางหมู อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นกลุ่มผู้ปกครองเด็กในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก ตำบลปางหมู จำนวน 104 คน คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยการเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างใช้วิธีการแบบอย่างง่าย คำนวณขนาดตามสัดส่วนและสุ่มตัวอย่าง ในระหว่างเดือน สิงหาคม 2557 ถึง เดือนพฤษภาคม 2558 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย ส่วนที่ 1 คุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล ส่วนที่ 2 แบบสอบถามความรู้เกี่ยวกับโรคไข้หวัดใหญ่ ส่วนที่ 3 แบบสอบถามการรับรู้ความเสี่ยงและความรุนแรงของโรคไข้หวัดใหญ่ ส่วนที่ 4 แบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับปัจจัยสนับสนุนและแรงจูงใจในการป้องกันโรคไข้หวัดใหญ่ ส่วนที่ 5 แบบสอบถามพฤติกรรมของผู้ปกครองเด็กในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กในการป้องกันไข้หวัดใหญ่ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงผสมผสาน ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติทดสอบไคสแควร์ (Chi-Square)
