การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง ความสำคัญของบรรยากาศ โดยวิธีสอนแบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 7 ขั้น และ เพื่อเพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง ความสำคัญของบรรยากาศ ระหว่างก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียน ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 โดยวิธีสอนแบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 7 ขั้น ตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยในครั้งนี้เป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2558 โรงเรียนน้ำริดวิทยา อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ จำนวน 30 คน ได้มาจากการเลือกแบบสุ่มตัวอย่าง การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงทดลอง โดยใช้แบบแผนการวิจัย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 7 ขั้น เรื่องความสำคัญของบรรยากาศ จำนวน 4 แผน 2) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต ร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นักเรียนที่ได้เรียนโดยใช้วิธีการสอนแบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 7 ขั้น คะแนนก่อนเรียนมีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 5.10 และคะแนนหลังเรียนมีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 7.57 มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01
