การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประเมินประสิทธิภาพและเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ก่อนใช้งานและหลังใช้งานระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการท่องเที่ยวโดยชุมชนเครือข่ายการท่องเที่ยวโดยชุมชนจังหวัดสตูล โดยมีกลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นตัวแทนชาวบ้าน ของชุมชนที่จัดการท่องเที่ยวในเครือข่ายการท่องเที่ยวโดยชุมชนจังหวัด ชุมชนละ 30 คน ทั้งหมด 12 ชุมชน รวม 360 คน
