บทคัดย่อ
ถั่วลิสงมักจะมีการปนเปื้อนของเชื้อราที่มีพิษต่อมนุษย์และสัตว์ พิษนี้สาเหตุเกิดจากสารพิษ เรียกว่า สารอะฟลาทอกซิน ซึ่งสร้างโดยเชื้อ Aspergillus flavus และ A.parasiticus กระเทียมเป็นพืชที่พบทั่วไปตามท้องตลาดหรืออาจสามารถปลูกไว้รับประทานเองได้ มีราคาประหยัด และจากคุณสมบัติของกระเทียมที่สามารถยับยั้ง เชื้อรา แบคทีเรีย และเชื้อไวรัส คณะผู้จัดทำเกิดความสนใจที่จะศึกษาและทำการทดลองเรื่องการนำสารสกัดจากกระเทียมมาใช้กับการยับยั้งเชื้อราในถั่วลิสง เพื่อให้ประชาชนไม่ต้องเสียค่าใช้จ่ายจำนวนมหาศาลในการรักษาอาการเจ็บป่วยและลดความเสี่ยงในการเกิดโรคที่มีผลมาจากเชื้อราในถั่วลิสง ในการศึกษานี้จึงได้นำกระเทียม 3 สายพันธุ์ ได้แก่ พันธุ์พม่า พันธุ์จีน และพันธุ์ไทย มาเปรียบเทียบการยับยั้งเชื้อราในถั่วลิสงของสารสกัดจากกระเทียมแต่ละพันธุ์ โดยการหาค่าเฉลี่ยความยาววงใส่ในจานเพาะเชื้อแต่ละจานเพื่อนำมาเปรียบเทียบ จากการทดลองหาค่าเฉลี่ยของความยาววงใส(เซนติเมตร)ได้ดั้งนี้ กระเทียมพันธุ์พม่า 0.5 เซนติเมตร กระเทียมพันธุ์จีน 0.767 เซนติเมตร และ กระเทียมพันธุ์ไทย 3.1 เซนติเมตร จากการหาค่าเฉลี่ยความยาววงใส่ในจานเพาะเชื้อแล้วนั้น พบว่ากระเทียมพันธุ์ไทยวัดความยาวของวงใสได้มากที่สุดแสดงว่ากระเทียมพันธุ์ไทยมีการยับยั้งเชื้อราในถั่วลิสงมากที่สุด
