ทุกวันนี้คนไทยเบื่อหน่ายกับวิกฤตการเมืองมากขึ้นทุกที
เพื่อนผมคนหนึ่งถึงกับพูดทำนองว่า

"พวกพลังเงียบที่รู้ว่าอะไรเป็นอะไรแต่ไม่ออกมาแสดงพลังนี่น่าสมเพช"

สิ่งเรกที่ผมสัมผัสได้จากคำพูดของเพื่อนคนนั้นก็คือ
ความรุ่มร้อนในใจของตัวเขาเองที่เกิดจากความไม่พอใจสภาพที่เป็นอยู่ในปัจจุบัน

อย่างไรก็ดี ผมไม่เคยคิดว่าปัญหาของบ้านเมืองเราในตอนนี้คือวิกฤตการเมืองเลยสักนิด
“วิกฤตศีลธรรม” ต่างหากที่เป็นเรื่องใหญ่และน่ากลัวกว่า



ทุกวันนี้คนไทยฆ่ากันง่ายดาย ด้วยเหตุผลที่เบาหวิวอย่างกับหนังเกรดบี
(ผมไม่ได้พูดถึงเหตุการณ์ทางการเมืองนะครับ)

แค่มีคนมาหลีแฟนเพื่อน ถึงกับต้องขับปาดหน้าแท็กซี่ ตามไปยิงให้ตาย
ข่าวคนฆ่ากันตายในรูปแบบต่างๆ มีให้เห็นไม่เว้นแต่ละวัน

จะเห็นได้ว่า...
คนไทยส่วนหนึ่งทั้งไม่เกรงกลัวกฎหมายและขาดหิริโอตัปปะ
มาตั้งแต่ก่อนมีการชุมนุมประท้วงเสียอีก
(เป็นที่รู้กันว่าทั้งรถยนต์ ทั้งมอเตอร์ไซค์ไม่ค่อยเคารพกฎจราจรกันเท่าไร
ต้องเห็นตำรวจก่อนถึงจะปฏิบัติตาม)

สังคมที่เป็นแบบนี้ต่างหาก...
ที่ให้กำเนิดวัฒนธรรมการประท้วงที่เต็มไปด้วยความเห็นแก่ตัว ไม่แคร์ว่าใครจะเดือดร้อน

คนเราเริ่มมองว่าอีกฝ่ายเป็นมนุษย์น้อยลงทุกที
และคิดจะทำอะไรใครก็ได้ ขอเพียงตัวเองไม่เดือดร้อน



พวกเราอาจคิดว่า...
ตัวเองไม่มีส่วนในการสร้างความเกลียดชังที่ทำให้สถานการณ์ในบ้านเมืองเลวร้ายลง

แต่จากที่ผมเห็นนั้น...
หลายคนมักจะนำคลิป หรือเขียนถ้อยคำ ที่ส่งเสริมให้คนอ่านเกลียดชังฝ่ายตรงข้ามกันมากมาย
ทั้งจากการอัพเฟซบุก ไม่ก็ฟอร์เวิร์ดเมล

เร็วๆ นี้ผมเพิ่งได้คลิปจากฝรั่งซึ่งถ่ายเหตุกาณ์การปะทะกันระหว่างชาวสีลมกับพวกเสื้อแดง
ทีแรกผมตั้งใจจะอัพในยูธูปเพื่อเปิดเผยสิ่งที่ตำรวจทำกับชาวสีลม
แต่พอพิจารณาแล้วผมเห็นว่ามันไม่คุ้มเลย
ถ้าสิ่งที่ผมทำจะเป็นเหตุให้คนกรุงเทพฯจำนวนหนึ่งเกลียดตำรวจ
