Dear Khun Paitoon,
Tnx for your mail. Report from SCT is correct.
We can send you the rubber part and you can install it, you don’t need to do any other operation rather than installing it. Price is stated in attached invoice (as exceptional case we still keep 20% discount which we gave to SCT even if we didn’t do officially business before!) but we need to revise it with your details so pls send your company details to us. For the payment, in order to speed up the delivery we suggest you to TT money immediately so that we will avoid opening a new account for you which can take several days due to our internal policy and banking procedures. If you want to follow normal procedure you will have to pay 50% deposit and balance upon shipment on the contrary if you immediately TT money rubber element could be in Thailand approximately in 4-5 days CIF Bangkok, but we cannot take any responsibility for airport storage charges due to payment delay.
We also would like to highlight that if we keep the unit in the same working condition it will be normal that rubber part will fail again , it a matter of days, so in order to solve the problem definitively it is better to reduce compressor capacity so that we will run the unit at safer speed (say minimum around 550-600 RPM). In order to achieve this we need to reduce 1st stage cylinder bore; let us explain a little bit more about this operation:
1st cylinders have 140 mm diameter and we need to reduce it down to approx. 120 mm so that capacity will decrease and we could increase compressor speed.
This will require the following modification:
1) 2 new liners
2) 2 new pistons
3) 2 new cylinder covers
4) New piston rings
5) Other accessories
The cost for this operation is 20,000 USD including airfreight shipping CIF Bangkok, 5 days supervision, but excluding local manpower (3-5 days including testing), which could be provided from you for training purposes and cost saving. Parts can be in Thailand in 6 weeks from your confirmation and 50% deposit, ideally before Christmas.
Pls keep in mind that if in the future SML capacity will increase you could still use 140 mm cylinder parts and you could use 120 mm parts as spare parts for the 2nd stage cylinder.
Let’s discuss openly which could be the best solution for you so that we could start manufacturing parts.
Looking forward for your reply
