ในสภาวะการที่เป็นผู้นำนั้นต้องรับฟังความคิดเห็นของผู้อื่น คือการที่เรารับฟังและให้โอกาสผู้อื่นได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น เพราะทุกๆ คนนั้นมีประสบการณที่แตกต่างกัน การที่เรารับฟังความคิดเห็นของผู้อื่น ก็จะทำให้เราได้สัมผัสถึงประสบการณ์ของพวกเขา ซึ่งบางครั้งเราก็อาจจะได้รับความรู้ใหม่ๆ จากประสบการณ์ของคนอื่นได้ และเพื่อให้งานสามารถดำเนินไปได้ด้วยความสบายใจของทุกๆ คนในทีม
แต่จะถือว่าตัวเองนั้นแล้วจะทำตามความคิดตัวเองเพียงคนเดียวมันเป็นไปไม่ได้
