งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการใช้ประโยชน์ที่ดินและปริมาณการแพร่กระจายของฝุ่นละอองบริเวณอุตสาหกรรมโรงโม่หิน จังหวัดสระบุรี โดยประยุกต์ระบบภูมิสารสนเทศเป็นเครื่องมือในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงพื้นที่ เพื่อจำแนกใช้ประโยชน์ที่ดิน และ พื้นที่การแพร่กระจายฝุ่นละออง โดยรวมปัจจัยต่าง ๆ ได้แก่ การใช้ประโยชน์ที่ดิน ค่าฝุ่นละออง พิกัดสถานีตรวจวัดอากาศ พิกัดโรงโม่หิน ภาพถ่ายดาวเทียม ขอบเขตจังหวัดสระบุรี มาทำการวิเคราะห์ เพื่อให้ได้ข้อมูลการใช้ประโยชน์ที่ดิน และ ข้อมูลการแพร่กระจายของฝุ่น
