วิธีดำเนินการศึกษา
การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจเกี่ยวกับการปรับตัวของนิสิตระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารสากล คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัย ซึ่งผู้วิจัยได้ดำเนินการตามลำดับ ดังนี้
3.1 การกำหนดประชากรและการเลือกตัวอย่าง
3.2 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย
3.3 การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล
3.4 การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล
3.5 สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล
3.1 กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการศึกษา
ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้คือ นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่
1 สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารสากล คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัย จำนวน28 3.2 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย

เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ แบบสอบถามที่ผู้วิจัยได้สร้างขึ้นตามวัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยคือ เพื่อศึกษา
การปรับตัวในมหาวิทยาลัยของนิสิตระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 1สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารสากล คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัย ได้
แบบสอบถามซึ่งแบ่งออกเป็น 5 ตอนได้แก่
ตอนที่ 1 แบบสอบถามข้อมูลทั่วไปของผู้ตอบแบบสอบถาม ได้แก่ เพศ ประเภท ภูมิลำเนา ที่พักอาศัยปัจจุบันและแหล่งเงินทุนทางการเรียน
ตอนที่ 2 แบบสอบถาม การปรับตัวด้านการเรียน จำนวน 10 ข้อ
ตอนที่ 3 แบบสอบถาม การปรับตัวด้านสังคม จำนวน 10 ข้อ
ตอนที่ 4 แบบสอบถาม การปรับตัวด้านอารมณ์แต่ละบุคคล จำนวน 10 ข้อ
ตอนที่ 5 แบบสอบถาม การปรับตัวในด้านเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม จำนวน 10 ข้อ
โดยใช้ลักษณะเป็นแบบมาตราส่วน ประเมินค่า 5 ระดับ

เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล
1นำแบบสอบถามจำนวน 28ชุดไปสอบถามนักศึกษาที่เป้นกลุ่มตัวอย่าง
2นำข้อมูลที่มีคำตอบครบแล้วไปวิเคราะห์และแปรผลทางสติติต่อไป
3.4 การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล
การสำรวจแบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นของนักศึกษาที่เกี่ยวกับการปรับตัวในมหาวิทยาลัยของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่1 ผู้วิจัยได้นำข้อมูลที่ได้จากแบบสอบถามทั้งหมดมาทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมุลดโดยการใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา ซึ่งเป็นไปตามขั้นตอน
2.1 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทั่วไปของผู้ตอบแบบสอบถาม ได้แก่ เพศ สาขาวิชา ประเภท ภูมิลำเนา ที่พักอาศัยปัจจุบันและแหล่งเงินทุนทางการเรียน โดยการหาร้อยละ (Percentage)
2.2 ตามวัตถุประสงค์ข้อ 1 เพื่อศึกษาระดับการปรับตัวของนิสิตระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 1ในแต่ละด้านการปรับตัวได้แก่ ด้านการเรียน ด้านสังคม ด้านอารมณ์แต่ละบุคคล และด้านการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมของมหาวิทยาลัยรวมทั้งการปรับตัวทั้งหมด ทำการวิเคราะห์ด้วยการหาค่าคะแนนการปรับตัวโดยเฉลี่ย (Mean)และค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (Standard deviation)ตังนั้นหาค่าไปตีความหมาย
