"เทศกาลเที่ยวพิมาย นครราชสีมา ประจำปี 2555"



จังหวัดนครราชสีมา ร่วมกับ การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย(ททท.) กรมศิลปากร องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดนครราชสีมา และองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นในพื้นที่ กำหนดจัดงาน "เทศกาลเที่ยวพิมาย นครราชสีมา ประจำปี 2555" ระหว่างวันที่ 7-11 พฤศจิกายน 2555 ณ อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์พิมาย บริเวณลานพรหมทัต และ ลำน้ำจักราช อำเภอพิมาย จังหวัดนครราชสีมา



เมืองพิมายเป็นเมืองที่มีอารยธรรมสืบสานต่อกันมาอย่างยาวนาน ชุมชนเมืองพิมายในอดีตกาลนั้น ได้มีการพัฒนามาอย่างต่อเนื่อง และรุ่งเรืองถึงขีดสุดในยุคสมัยพระเจ้าชัยวรมันที่ 7 จะเห็นได้จากหลักฐานสำคัญ อันยิ่งใหญ่ และงดงามเป็นที่สุด นั่นคือ "ปราสาทหินพิมาย" เพื่อเป็นการสมโภชเมืองในวาระที่เมืองพิมายมีอายุยาวนานนับพันปี จังหวัดนครราชสีมา ได้ร่วมกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง จัดงานเทศกาลเที่ยวพิมาย นครราชสีมา ประจำปี 2555 อย่างยิ่งใหญ่เพื่อประกาศให้ชาวไทยและชาวต่างประเทศได้ร่วมรับรู้และร่วมยินดีกับวาระดังกล่าว ภายในงานมีการจัดกิจกรรมที่น่าสนใจ ดังนี้



- การแสดงประกอบ แสง เสียง วิมายนาฏการ บทใหม่ ในชุด "วิมายปุระ แดนเทวนฤมิต" โดยการเล่าเรื่องราวผ่านท่วงท่าการร่ายรำจากภาพจำหลักผสานกับความรุ่งเรืองในยุคสมัยของ พระเจ้าชัยวรมันที่ 7 ถูกถ่ายทอดเป็นการแสดงที่ยิ่งใหญ่สุดอลังการ ในวันศุกร์ เสาร์ อาทิตย์ที่ 9-11 พฤศจิกายน 2555 เวลา 19.30 - 21.30 น. ณ อุทยานประวัติศาสตร์พิมาย
