จากการศึกษาค้นคว้าข้อมูลพบว่าในปัจจุบันนักศึกษาและบุคคลทั่วไปมีความรู้และความเข้าใจเรื่องอาเซียนกันเป็นจำนวนไม่มากนัก เราจึงได้ทำแบบสำรวจการเตรียมความพร้อมภาษาอังกฤษสู่อาเซียน สำหรับนักศึกษาโปรแกรมวิชาการประถมศึกษาขึ้นมาเพื่อพัฒนาศักยภาพในด้านนี้เพราะประเทศไทยของเราก็เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของประชาคมอาเซียน และอีกอย่างคือคนไทยไม่มีทักษะทางด้านภาษาอังกฤษและในแต่ละปีคนไทยก็ได้ออกเดินทางไปต่างประเทศเป็นจำนวนมาก ประโยคพื้นฐานทางภาษาอังกฤษก่อนการไปเที่ยวต่างประเทศก็ถือว่ามีความสำคัญมาก ซึ่งต่อมากลุ่มของข้าพเจ้าจึงได้จัดทำโครงงานศึกษาค้นคว้าเรื่องการเตรียมประโยคพื้นฐานภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับการเดินทางไปต่างประเทศครั้งแรก จากแหล่งข้อมูลจากหนังสือ เพื่อหาเทคนิควิธีการเพื่อพัฒนาประโยคทางภาษาอังกฤษก่อนการเดินทางไปต่างประเทศให้ดีขึ้นซึ่งเหมาะกับผู้ที่จะเดินทางไปต่างประเทศครั้งแรก
