โครงการพัฒนาพื้นที่ลุ่มน้ำแม่อาว จังหวัดลำพูน
วัตถุประสงค์
1. เพื่อใช้ประโยชน์จากแหล่งน้ำให้เกิดผลประโยชน์อย่างเต็มประสิทธิภาพ โดยมีองค์กรต่างๆ ของหมู่บ้านช่วยดูแลรักษา รวมทั้งช่วยบริหารแหล่งน้ำ
2. เพื่อเพิ่มอาหารโปรตีนประเภทปลาแก่เกษตรกรในเขตพื้นที่ของโครงการฯ
3. เพื่ออบรมเผยแพร่ความรู้ด้านการเลี้ยงปลา และการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรประมง
4. เพื่อก่อให้เกิดรายได้จากการจับปลาในแหล่งน้ำธรรมชาติ และปลาที่เลี้ยงในบ่อของราษฎร
5. เพื่อเป็นแหล่งผลิตอาหารโปรตีนประเภทปลาให้แก่นักเรียนบริโภคเป็นอาหารกลางวัน และเป็นศูนย์กลางในการเผยแพร่ความรู้ถ่ายทอดให้เกษตรกรในหมู่บ้าน รวมทั้งปลูกฝังและฝึกอบรมให้นักเรียนมีความรู้และประสบการณ์ในการเพาะเลี้ยงสัตว์น้ำ
