ชาวจีนในมาเลเซียมีการทำขนมไหว้พระจันทร์เพื่อรำลึกถึงเหตุการณ์ในครั้งนั้น ในงานนี้ยังมีกระบวนการแห่โคมอย่างสวยงามอีกด้วย
