การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1. เพื่อศึกษาผลการดำเนินงานต่อการพัฒนาท้องถิ่น ขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลเหล่าหมี อำเภอดอนตาล จังหวัดมุกดาหาร 2. เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความคิดเห็นของประชาชน ในการดำเนินงานต่อการพัฒนาท้องถิ่น ขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลเหล่าหมี อำเภอดอนตาล จังหวัดมุกดาหาร จำแนกตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล ผู้วิจัยทำการศึกษาจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 364 คน โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือจำนวน 364 ชุด หรือคิดเป็นร้อยละ 100 ของกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์สำเร็จรูป สถิติที่ใช้ ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่า t – test และ F -test
