มาตรา ๗ ให้กรรมการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิซึ่ง

มาตรา ๗ ให้กรรมการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิซึ่งคณะรัฐมนตรีแต่งตั้งมีวาระอยู่ในตำแหน่งคราวละสองปี
ในกรณีที่กรรมการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิซึ่งคณะรัฐมนตรีแต่งตั้งพ้นจากตำแหน่งก่อนวาระ ให้คณะรัฐมนตรีแต่งตั้งผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิในประเภทเดียวกันเป็นกรรมการแทน และให้ผู้ได้รับแต่งตั้งอยู่ในตำแหน่งเท่ากับวาระที่เหลืออยู่ของผู้ซึ่งตนแทน

มาตรา ๘ นอกจากการพ้นจากตำแหน่งตามวาระ กรรมการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิซึ่งคณะรัฐมนตรีแต่งตั้งพ้นจากตำแหน่งเมื่อ
(๑) ตาย
(๒) ลาออก
(๓) คณะรัฐมนตรีให้ออกเพราะไม่สุจริตต่อหน้าที่หรือมีความประพฤติเสื่อมเสีย
(๔) เป็นบุคคลล้มละลาย
(๕) เป็นคนไร้ความสามารถหรือคนเสมือนไร้ความสามารถ
(๖) ได้รับโทษจำคุกโดยคำพิพากษาถึงที่สุดให้จำคุก เว้นแต่เป็นโทษสำหรับความผิดที่ได้กระทำโดยประมาท

มาตรา ๙ การประชุมคณะกรรมการต้องมีกรรมการมาประชุมไม่น้อยกว่ากึ่งหนึ่งของจำนวนกรรมการทั้งหมด จึงจะเป็นองค์ประชุม

มาตรา ๑๐ ให้คณะรรมการมีอำนาจหน้าที่ดังต่อไปนี้
(๑) ให้คำแนะนำแก่รัฐมนตรีในการออกกฎกระทรวงตามมาตรา ๑๓

(๖) ปฏิบัติการอื่นใดตามที่พระราชบัญญัตินี้หรือกฎหมายอื่นบัญญัติให้เป็นอำนาจหน้าที่ของคณะกรรมการหรือตามที่รัฐมนตรีมอบหมาย

มาตรา ๑๑ ให้คณะกรรมการมีอำนาจแต่งตั้งคณะอนุกรรมการเพื่อพิจารณาหรือปฏิบัติการอย่างหนึ่งอย่างใดแทนคณะกรรมการหรือตามที่คณะกรรมการมอบหมายได้
