การศึกษาเชิงพรรณนา ( Descriptive statistics ) ครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการติดเชื้อหนอนพยาธิของนักเรียนโรงเรียนบ้านทุ่งติ้ว ตำบลภูซาง อำเภอภูซาง จังหวัดพะเยา มีกลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 77 คน ได้แก่ นักเรียนเพศชาย และเพศหญิง ที่เรียนอยู่ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ถึง ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 จำนวน 77 คน
ปีการศึกษา 2557 โดยการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง ด้วยแบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน chi square และIndependent samples t-test
ผลการศึกษาพบว่าปัจจัยต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับพฤติกรรม ได้แก่ ความรู้ทางโภชนาการและอาหารที่นำสู่โรค
และปัจจัยเกี่ยวกับพฤติกรรม ได้แก่ วิธีประกอบอาหารจากปลาเกล็ดขาว เช่น ปลาตะเพียน ปลาซิว ปลาสร้อย เป็นต้น นำมาปิ้งแบบสุกบ้าง ไม่สุกบ้าง มีความสัมพันธ์กับการติดเชื้อหนอนพยาธิของนักเรียนโรงเรียนบ้านทุ่งติ้ว ตำบลภูซาง อำเภอภูซาง จังหวัดพะเยา อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ที่ระดับ 0.01
ผลลัพธ์จากการศึกษาครั้งนี้นำข้อมูลมาเป็นแนวทางในวางแผนการส่งเสริม ป้องกัน รักษาเกี่ยวกับปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการติดเชื้อหนอนพยาธิของนักเรียนและในกลุ่มอื่น ๆ ต่อไป
