มหาวิทยาลัยธุรกิจบัณฑิตย์ จัดงานประเพณีลอยกระทงประจำปี 2558 โดยมี รศ.ดร.วรากรณ์ สามโกเศศ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยธุรกิจบัณฑิตย์ ภายในงานมีกิจกรรมการออกร้านจำหน่ายสินค้า กิจกรรมสอยดาว มินิคอนเสิร์ตจากชมรมดนตรีสากล การฉายภาพยนตร์กลางแปลง นิทรรศการ “ลอยกระทง 4 ภาค” การประกวดประดิษฐ์กระทง ชมการแสดงนาฏศิลป์ และการบรรเลงดนตรีไทยของนักเรียนนักศึกษาในโครงการส่งเสริมศิลปวัฒนธรรมของศูนย์วัฒนธรรมและการแสดงต่างๆ บนเวทีที่น่าสนใจอีกมากมาย

นอกจากนี้ยังมีกิจกรรมไฮไลท์ของงานคือ การประกวดนางนพมาศ ซึ่งผู้ที่คว้ารางวัลชนะเลิศการประกวดนพมาศ ได้แก่ นส.สุนิสา สงวนชาติ คณะวิศวะกรรมศาสตร์ รองอันดับ 1 ได้แก่ นส.พัณชญา คล่องแคล่ว คณะศิลปศาสตร์ ส่วนรองอันดับ 2 ได้แก่ นส.กรวรา เทพนรรัตน์ คณะนิเทศศาสตร์ สุดท้าย รางวัลชมเชย ได้แก่ นส. นันท์นภัส ทองแดง คณะการบัญชี และ นส.ธัญปภัทร อินทรง คณะเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ ปิดท้ายด้วยการร่วมกันลอยกระทงเพื่อสืบสานประเพณีไทยที่ดีงาม ซึ่งบรรยากาศในงานเป็นไปอย่างคึกคัก ณ มหาวิทยาลัยธุรกิจบัณฑิตย์
